The concept for Sendfull came from launching hardware and software products at Meta, Adobe, and Daqri.
Launching new products is challenging, especially when there’s a convergence of new user interfaces, emerging technologies (like spatial computing and AI), and new business models. AI in particular introduces new challenges related to AI-human collaboration, harm & bias, cognitive load, and other unique factors. We need better tools for customer discovery and feedback/evaluation, and to diffuse these new tools to all product team members—engineers, scientists, product managers, product marketing, and designers.
This opportunity is most acute at early stage companies, with a limited runway to bring new experiences to market. Early stage companies don’t have dedicated Design Researchers (see the great chart from Lenny Rachitsky, mapping out the first ten hires at prominent B2B SaaS companies). These teams need practical, actionable frameworks for customer discovery and product evaluation.
Sendfull is on a mission to equip product teams with a better playbook for customer discovery and product evaluation, suited to the specific challenges of building for Spatial Computing and Artificial Intelligence. Whether we’re working with established companies incubating new products, or startups needing a bit of extra help to accelerate their customer discovery process.
